Hang tag printers must first know these eight questions
1. Do graphic symbols, barcodes, or logos need to be printed on the hang tag?
If you need to print graphic symbols or logos on your hang tag, you must choose a hang tag printer with a printing resolution of 300dpi or higher; If there is no room to relax the requirements appropriately, choose 200dpi, but it is recommended to use 300dpi.
2. Is the hang tag rolled continuously? Or is it a single sheet?
The difference between continuous roll hanging tags and single roll hanging tags is that continuous roll hanging tags generally have torn lines in the middle and cannot print very exquisite graphics. Customers with high requirements for product appearance are not recommended to use them; And a single hang tag can achieve a level of exquisite grade. So it is suitable for printing with different tag printers. Roll tags use barcode printers, and single tags use single tag printers.
3. What is the size of the hang tag?
The size of the hang tag: if the width is less than 25mm and the height is less than 20mm, it is not suitable for hanging tag printers (including barcode printers and single hang tag printers) to print. The size of the hang tag: If the width is greater than 110mm, it is not suitable for printing with a single hang tag printer.
4. Is there a fixed hole on the hang tag? Where is the location of the fixed-point hole?
A single hang tag printer has no requirements for hole positions. Barcode printers require accurate fixed-point holes on the hang tag. If it is a circular hole, the good position should be in the middle of the hang tag. If it is a long hole, the position should be relatively flexible. If there is no fixed point hole, the black marking method can be selected, and standard black markings need to be printed on the back of the hang tag. When selecting a hang tag printer, choose a device with flexible detection sensors for easy and accurate fixed point adjustment.
5. What is the daily printing quantity of hang tags?
The daily printing quantity of hang tags exceeds 1000, requiring the use of an industrial barcode printer. The single hang tag printer itself is an industrial type machine, suitable for printing large quantities.
6. What is the thickness of the hang tag? What is the material?
When the thickness of the hang tag is less than or equal to 300 grams, a barcode printer can be used. When the thickness of the hang tag exceeds 300 grams, a single hang tag printer must be used, but the thickness generally cannot exceed 450 grams. The material of the hang tag can be cardboard or PVC card. Both barcode printers and single label printers are suitable.
7. When the hang tag is in a continuous roll shape, is it manually torn between the sheets? Or automatic cutting?
If the hang tag needs to be automatically cut, an automatic cutting knife can be equipped on the barcode printer, which is very convenient to use. It can also solve the problem of unsightly manual wire tearing.
8. Is the printing of hang tags done by machines? Or is there another purpose?
Such as printing labels, etc. It is recommended to use a good machine for the printing of hang tags, and not let it serve any other purpose. If it is necessary to print other materials, when selecting a hang tag printer, choose a printing device that is easy to switch printing methods.
