How to maintain the printer during daily use

In addition to product quality, the lifespan of the printer is also very important. Understanding how to operate it correctly can make the printer last longer.

  1. Make sure the printer is working on a horizontal desktop and do not place too many items on the printer. When printing, the front cover of the printer must be closed to prevent dust from entering the body and causing malfunctions. Do not unplug the power cord when the printer is powered on unless necessary, as it may damage the internal motherboard of the printer.

  2. During use, do not expose the printer to dust, as this can easily allow dust to enter and hinder the operation of the printer nozzle, resulting in incorrect printing components or collisions with mechanical equipment structures, causing paper jams.

  3. Connect the power plug of the printer to a grounded socket to prevent voltage fluctuations in the switch power supply caused by large motors or other mechanical equipment.

  4. Do not touch the print head directly with your hands or other objects. When cleaning the print head, use a dust-free cloth and alcohol to prevent static electricity or stains from damaging the print head.

  5. Printers should avoid exposure to sunlight, strong light, and heat sources.

Just like other electronic devices, proper use and maintenance of printers are necessary to make them last longer and work more efficiently.
