Do you know what interfaces color label printers have
When a color label printer is connected to a computer or terminal for printing, it is necessary to select a suitable port for communication. The commonly used printing communication ports for color label printers currently include RS-232 serial port, parallel port, USB port, network port, and Bluetooth port.
RS-232 serial port
Port characteristics:
Theoretical communication distance not exceeding 10 meters, low anti-interference ability
The maximum total current through serial and/or parallel interface ports cannot exceed 0.75 amperes.
Parallel port
Port characteristics:
Theoretical communication distance does not exceed 20 meters, with low anti-interference ability. The new models are basically no longer supported.
USB data interface
Port characteristics:
The theoretical communication distance does not exceed 5 meters and has a certain anti-interference ability. The USB port is currently the most commonly used connection port for washing label printers, with fast data communication speed, good data stability, and strong versatility.
Network data interface
Port characteristics:
Theoretical communication distance does not exceed 100 meters, with good anti-interference ability. This interface requires the use of CAT-5 and above UTP RJ45 Ethernet cables.
Bluetooth Port
Bluetooth ports are increasingly being selected as an option for printers, but due to the impact of Bluetooth transmission speed, they are not suitable for printing and transmitting large amounts of data. Bluetooth ports are more suitable for wireless connection printing on PDAs and mobile terminals, and are not suitable for industrial models such as color label printers.
