Although UV flatbed printers can print patterns on surfaces of hundreds or thousands of materials, differences in surface characteristics, UV ink adhesion, flexibility, and other properties can lead to peeling and detachment on some materials, which requires the use of UV coatings to solve this problem.
1. UV flatbed printer silicone coating
Suitable for silicone and rubber materials. The surface activity is poor and requires flame treatment, otherwise the adhesion is insufficient. Flame treatment depends on experience, and the surface should not be sprayed too thick, otherwise it is not easy to dry.
2. Metal coating for UV flatbed printer
Metal coating: suitable for materials such as aluminum, copper plate, tinplate, aluminum alloy, etc., available in transparent and white colors, and should be used on finished products. It cannot be used before stamping or injection molding, otherwise the effect will be greatly reduced.
3. Leather coating for UV flatbed printers
Suitable for Zhen leather, leather, PVC leather, PU leather, etc. After spraying on the surface of leather materials, let it air dry naturally.
4. UV printer PC coating
Some PC materials are harder and usually have poor adhesion! Some PC materials can be printed directly without coating! Generally, imported PVC acrylic sheets require wiping off the PC coating.
5. UV printer glass coating
Suitable for glass materials such as organic glass, tempered glass, glazed tiles, crystals, etc. that require special treatment. Currently, there are two types: quick drying coating and baked coating. The former can print patterns after wiping and standing for 10 minutes, while the latter requires baking in an oven before printing patterns.
