  1. Install printing tape

The print strap of a handheld typewriter is different from traditional printers. It is a small box installed inside the typewriter, and the print strap lifting ring needs to be placed into the printer's print strap clamping device to maintain an appropriate fit with the typing head. The print strap should not be twisted, damp, or bent or broken.

  2. Connecting the power supply

Handheld typewriters usually have two power supply methods: battery and external power supply. If using a battery for power supply, it is necessary to fully charge the battery in advance. If using an external power supply, the power plug needs to be inserted into the power interface of the handheld typewriter.

  3. Adjusting the print head

The position of the print head on a handheld typewriter can be controlled through a handle. Before use, it is necessary to adjust the print head to the correct position, so that it fits tightly with the printing tape and avoids cutting damage.

  4. Choose font and size

A handheld typewriter can switch between different fonts and sizes. Before use, you need to adjust the position of the font and size selection handle, and then you can start printing.

  5. Start printing

When printing, it is necessary to hold down the handle of the handheld typewriter and control the movement of the print head until printing is completed. The printer usually emits a ticking sound to indicate the completion of each printing action. At this time, the handle can be moved downwards to proceed with the next printing.
